PRAYING FOR THE BRONX-Bronx River Community

Please pray for the young people in this area.  Pray that they will resist the gang life, the drug life and the street life and choose Jesus.  

Please pray for the schools.  Pray that the students can come to school and learn in peace, that there would be no violence or threat to their well being, that they would have books and teachers who are capable and concerned and that many young people would graduate high school and contribute to the betterment of society. 

Please pray against the violence in this area.  Pray for the violence on the streets and in the homes to cease.  Pray that no man, women or child would live in fear, but claim the promises of God and live for Him. 

Please pray against poverty.  Pray for job opportunities for the people of this area, for an honest wage to provide for their families and a right attitude towards money and its wise use. 

PRAYING FOR THE BRONX-161st Street area

Please pray for the Family and Criminal courts.  Pray for the lawyers and the judges to practice with integrity.  Pray that justice will prevail.  Pray that all those who enter there will find comfort in Jesus in times of trouble. 

Please pray for the church plant starting at the Concourse Theater this fall. Pray that many would come out and hear the gospel and have their lives changed. 

Please pray for the Concourse Village residents.  Pray that their families would remain intact, their children would be safe on the streets and the mothers and fathers would be able to find work and provide for their families. 

Pray for local business and churches in the area.  Pray that the businesses will operate honestly providing a needed and productive service to the community.  Pray that the churches stay true to the Word, love their people and collaborate with other churches for the good of the Kingdom.
